Sept. 15 - Chongqing Huguang Guild Hall completed its renovation program
on Sept. 13th and will be opened to visitors by the end of this month.
It resembles the local culture of Chongqing. People gathered here to
catch up each other, promoted friendship as fellowmen, and defended their
common interests.
It is also a precious firsthand material for the historic event of
migration from Huguang (a province of great weight in the Ming Dynasty
(1368-1644) which covered Hubei, Hunan and part of Guangdong and Guangxi)
into Sichuan Province.
