Domestic feeder jets to serve Beijing Olympics

ARJ21-900, a type of China-developed feeder jet which embodies China's
outstanding achievement in the aviation industry, was on display in the
"Exhibition on Significant Achievements of Scientific and Technological
Innovation" held in Beijing Exhibition Center. ARJ21-900 is a lengthened
model of the ARJ21 series with 105 seats for economic class and powered
by well-developed CF34-10A engines. This model will be on the assembly
line in 2006, take trial flights in 2007, and serve the 2008 Beijing
Olympic Games in the flights between Beijing and Qingdao.
